IMPORTANT BAGGAGE LIMIT
You are only allowed ONE small suitcase. That is all there is room for on the bus.
And you MUST be able to carry your own bag and lift it. No one else will be available to carry your bag!
- Only bring one small suitcase, a small daypack and a small purse. Crossbody bags are great, I love my Travelon cross body bag, which is also water resistant.
- There will not always be elevators where we are staying, especially in Guingamp.
- I URGE you to only bring a carry-on suitcase, even if you check it when flying. Keep your packing light!! Use compression garment organizers.
- I suggest: 3 pairs pants, 3 t shirts, 1-2 long sleeve shirt, 1 zip up jacket/sweater to layer, 1 fleece, 1 raincoat. 4 pair underwear, 2 bras, 4 socks, 1 set lightweight pajamas.
- I always wash out some clothes each night when I am traveling and hang them to dry, so I can keep my bag light. We will have laundry available for you in Carnac (price not included). I use synthetic quick dry shirts and underwear.
- I often bring 2-3 earrings, a couple small necklaces and 2 scarfs to change things up. No one cares if you wear the same thing all the time, we all will be!
- I bring an inflatable neck pillow for the plane, (so I can deflate it and roll it up and tuck it in a corner of my suitcase when not flying) and use one of my scarves as a blanket on the plane also.
TRAVEL PREPARATION TIPS
TRAVEL INSURANCE & MEDICAL INSURANCE
Get travel insurance for trip interruption and medical care* Required. I often use Allizanz, but you have a number of options.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend buying your trip insurance as soon as you purchase your flight for the best rates. If you wait, you will be charged a much higher rate for your travel plan.
